Martyrs’ Shrine

This is the second Canadian national shrine that we’ve visited (the first one was in Monreal). This famous pilgrimage site in Midland, Ontario is in memory of the Canadian Martyrs. The church is perched on top of a hill with sprawling grounds that features complete Way of the Cross. Probably, one of its most distinctive features is the interior of the church which looks like an overturned canoe.
